Public bug reported:

The current version of `memtest86+` (v5) on all currently-supported
Ubuntu versions cannot handle running under UEFI, which means that the
option to run it doesn't appear in the GRUB boot menu when Ubuntu is
installed or when booting from an Ubuntu live USB drive on those modern
computers that have legacy BIOS mode disabled, which is somewhat common.

Please upgrade the package to memtest86+ v6.0.0 (https://memtest.org/),
which includes both legacy BIOS and UEFI support.

** Affects: memtest86+ (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
