Sorry missubuntu but there's nowhere near enough information for us to
ascertain whether there is a problem with your hardware or a bug in the
installer. You didn't tell us with which flavour or release of Ubuntu
you are using and we know nothing about your computer.

If you're still have problems then from a failed attempt to install Ubuntu please run the following command in a terminal window:
  
  apport-collect 2000331

That will collect debugging information from your computer and add it to
this bug report.
