Title:
Blank Ubiquity window, environment crashed when trying to close it
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
I booted up from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-
live/20221020/kinetic-desktop-amd64.iso in Qemu with
qemu-system-x86_64 -m 4.2G -enable-kvm -smp 6 -hda *img -cdrom *iso
Ubiquity showed up but it was mostly blank, only decorations (title
bar, close button) and orange circles were present.
I waited about 2 minutes in hope that it would load the remaining
widgets, but it didn't, so I pressed the close button and the
environment crashed — a dialog saying something like "the installer
experienced an irrecoverable error, will drop to a desktop session"
appeared, and so it did, at which point I could file this ubuntu-bug
ubiquity.
