  Subiquity only provisions half of available space for root logical
  volume

Status in subiquity package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  When using the ubuntu server installation media, using a full-disk
  setup with LVM and encryption enabled, the default configuration only
  uses half of the available space for the root logical group instead of
  all available space.
