  Plasma translation selection not working

Status in plasma-desktop package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  trying to add further languages for KDE via system settings shows only
  a hardly to notice flickering window with the list of languages. No
  interaction possible at all.

  Fresh install of kubuntu 20.04.3 on T14sG2 with Kernel 5.10.0-1057 and
  Plasma version 5.18.5, KDE Frameworks 5.68, QT 5.12.8.
