A related issue: I really don't want to see russian "holidays" by
default as they've now became homicidal maniacs that want to kill me and
my friends.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: bsdmainutils

  It'd be nice if calendar could detect that I'm using, say, en_US
  locale and not display French-language calendar entries, as it does by
  default.

  I'm filing this against bsdmainutils 6.1.10ubuntu4, in Karmic.
