[Bug 1965526] [NEW] gdb 9.2 silently exits when debugging from within eclipse

Public bug reported:

While I was trying to debug a program from eclipse on a 20.04 system, I
noticed gdb aborting and stopping the debugged program after a few
steps.

Turns out this is a gdb bug:
https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=28711 with a simple fix.

I have rebuilt the package locally with the patch, but filing this
because I think it could be helpful to others to integrate that patch in
the package.
