Is this still an issue? I've had no problems connecting several local
Pis to 5GHz wifi although LP: #1951586 rather exacerbates the issue of
selecting a regulatory domain in jammy onwards.

** Changed in: linux-firmware-raspi2 (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Incomplete

Title:
wifi 5ghz band not working linux-firmware-raspi2 package

Status in linux-firmware-raspi2 package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
The Raspberry Pi 4 will not connect with 5Ghz band with the linux-
firmware-raspi2 in the ubuntu 19.10 package.

Expect 5ghz bands to show up in WiFi connect choices.

What happened instead is only 2.4Ghz bands were available choices.

The following info has the solutions:

  https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/tree/rpi-5.3.y
  https://github.com/Hexxeh/rpi-firmware
  https://github.com/TheRemote/Ubuntu-Server-raspi4-unofficial

If Hui Wang or waveform could look at all the fixes implemented at
those github locations please? That would be awesome!

  Thank you for your support.
