Looking at Dmesg.txt, it looks like pid 1 tasks are hanging in the
kernel, so all of the systemctl commands in the dpkg scripts are
failing/timing out. Thus, the failed installation is a side effect of
wider system problems.

If the problem persists, please open a new bug against the linux
package.
