Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. I looked at the provided logs. casper-md5check was fine:
Oct 18 16:38:43 ubuntu casper-md5check[1804]: Check finished: no errors
found.
There are some failures reported in the logs:
Oct 18 16:37:11 ubuntu sbkeysync[1850]: Error syncing keystore file
/usr/share/secureboot/updates/dbx/dbxupdate_x64.bin

>From my perspective, it looks like a normal Ubuntu installation. The
only suspicious log entry is that there is a temporary failure resolving
'se.archive.ubuntu.com'. That matches your description. Failing to
resolve IP addresses can have multiple culprits: Your PC, your router,
your ISP etc. Since you say that you have the problem regardless of the
operating system, I would search more on the router/ISP side. I would
try different combitanations: Try different client device in the
network, try your computer in a different network. If you can change
each component in the chain to the Internet, you could pin down the
culprit.
You say that you get various errors, crashes etc that floods the log.
Can you provide the logs for that? Currently it just looks like a
network problem to me. With logs we can further debug it.
I suggest to upgrade all firmware to the latest available version
(Router firmware, computer BIOS, etc).

Title:
multiple errors and warnings - possibly infected firmware/tpm certs
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Been having issues running any OS in a stable manner for quite some
time, with checksums not verifying on install even if they did so
creating the install medium, I'm not sure if this is the correct type
of report, but I really just hope that someone more experienced than
me can find what might be the issue.
Installing Ubuntu (or any other OS) usually completes but after a
while I start getting various errors, crashes etc that floods the log,
and its usually related to drivers failing. My internet connection
(Ethernet and Wifi) fails every time I try accessing some online
resource for security, updates, Microsoft(when using Windows), and
whatever endpoint these bugreports have. Either the interface/adapter
completely disappears or it's a "temporary error in namespace
resolution". I've also noticed that I can no longer hard reset my
router.. the list goes on and on.
Now just right before installing, I manually cleaned out my secure
boot certificates (I'm trying everything at this point) and I don't
know if that did anything but at least I'm writing this.
I've been trying to get help with this previously (it's been several
months) but I just get told I'm chasing ghosts and that it's all in my
head. If I'm going to get the same answer now, please confirm at least
that you've read the logs so that I can book a spot at the asylum with
confidence.
Thanks
(This should an install from latest iso 20.04 from Ubuntu.com, but Im
still in live env.)
