Public bug reported:

When I try to upgrade my ubuntu using the command 'sudo do-release-upgrade' I get the following error:
"Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu
Please use the tool 'ppa-purge' from the ppa-purge
package to remove software from a Launchpad PPA and
try the upgrade again."

I have tried to remove the ppa package, but it seems that when I run the
command "sudo apt --purge autoremove" it says "0 upgraded, 0 newly
installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded."

Any help would be appreciated.
