Per the Ubuntu Studio 22.04 release notes at
https://ubuntustudio.org/ubuntu-studio-22-04-lts-release-notes/:

"Due to the change in desktop environment, direct upgrades to Ubuntu
Studio 22.04 LTS from versions prior to 21.10 are unsupported."

This means that only clean installations are supported. Please back-up
your /home directory and reinstall your operating system.

Bug description:
  A subsequent dialog box talks about ppa-purge and launchpad but I'm
  not sure what this is. It says to install the `ppa-purge` package
  however `apt search ppa-purge` returns nothing.
