I have read the linked bug report and confirmed the patch is not present
in bionic.

Can you please provide some additional context regarding how/when you
experience this issue, and the impact it has on your system?

  libc6 for ubuntu bionic still got
  https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=23861 this bug. Any
  plan to back port this?  It sometimes affects openvswitch module.
