You have been subscribed to a public bug:

As part of the requirement for my project, I had to install libudev. On
installing libudev, my operating system crashed. Initially, home
directory was not able to be mounted. When I tried to restart, system
did not restart. There was boot error. I had to re install Ubuntu.

Step done to install libudev : sudo apt-get install libudev-dev

OS details:
Distributor ID:	Ubuntu
Description:	Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS
Release:	22.04
Codename:	jammy

When I searched the error in google, I came to know that several others
also experienced same issue. Below is the link:

after-sudo-apt-get-install-libudev-dev

Please let me know what needs to be done from my end.

Thanks in advance!
