live-build ./debian/patches/ubuntu-kernel-img-conf.patch ->
lb_chroot_linux-image.

Let's follow up with removing this from live-build, as it's obsolete.

** Project changed: ubuntu-desktop-installer => live-build (Ubuntu)

** Changed in: live-build (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Critical => Medium

** Changed in: live-build (Ubuntu)

Title:
  missing /etc/kernel-img.conf after plaintext install with canary image

Status in live-build package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  After install with the 20230825.2 canary image a classic install (no
  tpm fde) is missing /etc/kernel-img.conf.

  We should probably get rid of this file on *all* systems, because
  /usr/share/perl5/DebianLinux.pm has the correct defaults without
  needing a config file. But the installer shouldn't be behaving
  differently on canary than on non-canary wrt this.
