Thank you for your answer, do you consider updating the article then to
correct the misleading sentence?
Something like:
"Chiselled Ubuntu containers for .NET and ASP.NET are now available on
AMD64- and ARM-based platforms, offering precision-engineered,
production-destined containers to the .NET community."
or
"Chiselled Ubuntu containers for .NET and ASP.NET are now available on
AMD64- and ARM-based platforms (we are also considering s390x, but it is
not yet committed for a particular release cycle), offering precision-
engineered, production-destined containers to the .NET community."
or even
"Chiselled Ubuntu containers for .NET and ASP.NET are now available on
AMD64- and ARM-based platforms, coming soon for s390x*, offering
precision-engineered, production-destined containers to the .NET
community.
* Building the .NET runtime/sdk for s390x is being considered, but not
yet committed for a particular release cycle."

Title:
Is s390x support planned?
Status in dotnet6 package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
I opened a bug here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-docker-images/+bug/2044720
It is related to the fact that it was announced in this article: https://canonical.com/blog/chiselled-ubuntu-ga
-------
Chiselled Ubuntu containers for .NET and ASP.NET are now available on AMD64- and ARM-based platforms, as well as s390x, offering precision-engineered, production-destined containers to the .NET community.
-------
I was told that while ubuntu/dotnet-deps is compatible s390x,
ubuntu/dotnet-runtime + ubuntu/dotnet-aspnet are not.
Is s390x support planned in the near future?
Thank you.
