This is an intended effect of ubuntustudio-lowlatency-settings. Ubuntu
Studio, intentionally, only supports the lowlatency or generic kernels
in releases prior to 23.10.

** Also affects: grub2 (Ubuntu Mantic)
   Importance: Undecided
       Status: New

** Also affects: grub2 (Ubuntu Jammy)
   Importance: Undecided
       Status: New

** Changed in: grub2 (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid

** Package changed: grub2 (Ubuntu Jammy) => ubuntustudio-default-
settings (Ubuntu Jammy)

** Changed in: ubuntustudio-default-settings (Ubuntu Jammy)
       Status: New => Won't Fix

** Changed in: ubuntustudio-default-settings (Ubuntu Mantic)
       Status: New => Fix Released

  Ubuntu Studio refuse to see a kernel if it's name does not ends in
  lowlatency

Status in ubuntustudio-default-settings package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid
Status in ubuntustudio-default-settings source package in Jammy:
  Won't Fix
Status in ubuntustudio-default-settings source package in Mantic:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Discovered after many efforts at:
  https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+question/708782

  I think a warning explaining that the name needs to end in
  "-lowlatency" would help.
