Although the manual installation detects the EFI partition and adds the
Ubuntu bits

ubuntu at ubuntu:/mnt/EFI/BOOT$ ls -la
total 1855
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 512 janv. 7 15:55 .
drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 512 janv. 7 15:55 ..
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 955656 janv. 7 16:06 BOOTX64.EFI
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 85672 janv. 7 16:06 fbx64.efi
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 856232 janv. 7 16:06 mmx64.efi
ubuntu at ubuntu:/mnt/EFI/BOOT$

Title:
Installing 22.04 on mac OSX does not propose Dual Boot option

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Imac 8,1 with Mac OSX 10.11 with journal disable on HFS+ system
  partition :

Booted on Pure EFI ( No Bootcamp nor Refind )

Ubuntu 22.04 installer would propose only :

  - erase all the disk and install
  - Something else

it should propose like on a windows EFI machine

  - Install along OSX ( I even prepared 120 GB free on the disk for that
  )
