Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears
to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security
issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to
cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy.
Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Title:
Multiple issues possibly related to recent kernel update effecting
NVIDIA Drivers and Virtualbox (possibly due to incorrect driver/kernel
  module signing)

Status in virtualbox package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
After applying the recent UBUNTU update which included updates to the
kernel I have experienced the following issues:

  1. I cannot utilise the NVIDIA drivers, even after rolling back to
previous versions. (This may be due to incorrect signing of
  modules/kernels).

  2. I can open virtualbox, however when attempting to open a virtual
machine I receive the following error:

The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver is either not loaded or not set up
correctly. Please try setting it up again by executing

  '/sbin/vboxconfig'

  as root.

If your system has EFI Secure Boot enabled you may also need to sign
the kernel modules (vboxdrv, vboxnetflt, vboxnetadp, vboxpci) before
you can load them. Please see your Linux system's documentation for
  more information.
