I can confirm that. See the attached screenshot (made in Ubuntu 22.04.2
LTS). The text is in Swedish, but I can assure that it is from usb-
creator-gtk.

Bug description:
  When browsed to pick .iso extension file images, the usb-creator
  doesn't pick them, but the same works if the same .iso files were
  renamed to end with ".img" extension.
