Fixed in lftp 4.9.2-2 in Ubuntu 22.10 Kinetic and 23.04 Lunar.

NOT FIXED in lftp 4.8.4-2build3 in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Focal.

Please update to latest upstream version or include a patch in Ubuntu
20.04 Focal.
