Thanks that you have took the time to report the bug to help improve Ubuntu.
Unfortunately, Ubuntu 12.04 ESM reached its end of life in April 2019.
(See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases#Extended_Security_Maintenance)
We will set the state to "Won't Fix".
