I am not sure if the following bugs are related to this, but just in
case, aptdaemon fails on lunar in case when there is _any_ python
package installed that has version string incompatible with PEP-440.
Maybe @gunnarhj could take a look? Bug #2008430 and bug #2008898

Bug description:
  aptdaemon FTBFS with python3-setuptools 65.5.0-1.

  I've copied what I hope is the relevant part of the log below.

  Spoiler alert: there may also be issues with python3-nose and Python
  3.11 [1], but it is recommended that packages migrate away from using
  nose anyway [2].
