[Bug 2011312] [NEW] No installation progress shown

Public bug reported:

Upon completing the prerequisite screens and entering a username and password, clicking on the "Continue" button makes the installer screen disappear (as if it's crashed) and you are just left with the Lunar lobster desktop.
Downloading and using HTOP I can see things being written to disk. Once that is completed (i.e. no process writing to disk) I reboot and Lunar has actually installed.
