Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Please execute the following command only once, as it
will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:
apport-collect 2042698
When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-
bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this
functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.
No details as to what product (Server, Desktop) was provided, which will be filed when apport-collect is run.
I'll mark this as incomplete; but please change the status back to "New"
on running the apport-collect, or provide the detail you can in the bug
report. Ubuntu can install using GPT partitioning, but security settings
in you box firmware may prevent changes.
Bug reporting is about finding & fixing problems thus preventing future
users from hitting the same bug.
I suspect a Support site would be more appropriate, eg.
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu. You can also find help with your
problem in the support forum of your local Ubuntu community
http://loco.ubuntu.com/ or asking at https://askubuntu.com or
https://ubuntuforums.org, or for more support options please look at
https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/community-support/709
** Changed in: grub2 (Ubuntu)

Title:
Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS
Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
package grub2-common 2.06-2ubuntu7.2
Next to ubuntu I tried to install the following linux distributions:
Manjaro , Arch Linux Gui , Solus.
It seems that they all have problems with GPT support
because they all don't want to boot from GPT hard drive.
I tried from Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS " sudo update-grub "
but can't detect Manjaro , Arch Linux Gui , Solus.
I have one more problem, I don't know how to manage all GRUB-s on EFI fat32 partition.
The msdos partition system is simpler than GPT because I can set boot flag on any partition
and the system will boot from the selected partition.
