Public bug reported:

Using my 2022 HP envy, I have a problem when using the "Repeat Keys"
feature. Frequently, a key i hold down gets stuck, and the system will
continue to think it is being held down even after it is released. At
this point, no keys are responsive, and the computer has to be restarted
before i can use the keyboard again. This happens very frequently after
holding a key down, although not every time. This is never occurs when
using the windows partition on my laptop, so i am assuming it is a
software failure rather than a hardware issue. I have no issues when
using Ubuntu with the "Repeat Keys" feature turned off, although of
course it makes scrolling etc. more difficult.
