Title:
  VBox Ubuntu 18 upgrade to 20 failed on grub setup

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Oracle VirtualBox machine with Ubuntu 18.04 LTS installed and tried to
  update to next LTS version 20.04.5 LTS

  Upgrade commands used:

  sudo apt-get update
  sudo apt-get upgrade
  sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

  update-manager -c

  Failed on the grub question.  Popup screen could not accept input.
  The terminal status window did but still did not recognize the drive
  choice.

  System upgrade completed and restart worked but upon restart this error log remained.
  I did not expect the use of a virtual drive to fail the install near the end of the process. A warning up front if this cannot be avoided is expected.

  Suspected issues with 20.04 LTS and VirtualBox as fresh install would
  not recognize the Oracle VBox GAS addon install.  Attempted to perform
  an update of the last LTS with those addons already installed.
