[Bug 2038718] [NEW] S3 suspend no longer works

Public bug reported:
After a software update, S3 suspend stopped working. It is only possible
now to suspend to idle. Trying to manually modify the
/sys/power/mem_sleep to deep results in the laptop suspending but it is
not able to resume.
