[Bug 2038726] Re: Welcome and Software Boutique are just gray boxes. Grub (dual boot) was a blank as well - until I hit the right shift key. During the upgrade the language switched to something that looked a bit like Greek or Cyrillic. Since I didn't know what it was saying - I just hit enter whenever it paused for input. that this system has the fix for bug 2034986

Setting generic font Sans 11 during the upgrade. Original font is Ubuntu
11.
