Throughout the logs (UbiqiutySyslog.txt, to be specific), I am noticing
several I/O errors related to /dev/sdc which appears to be the target
drive. I suspect the target device to be in a state of pending failure.
A good way to check this is to boot into the live session and do the
partitioning and check with gparted, and try manually specifying
partitions for installation with the "Something else" option during
installation.
