1. The specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem.
2. The behavior you expected.
3. The behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).

Please also ensure that you include the release and flavour of Ubuntu
that you are using.

(You appear to not be using a Ubuntu kernel, no installation media was recorded (is it Ubuntu? or a Tuxedo OS?), and have provided no clues as to what release you tried to use `do-release-upgrade` to upgrade your system to; as ubuntu-release-upgrader upgrades a Ubuntu system to a later release; and isn't involved in installation OR upgrades whilst remaining on the installed release).
