** Description changed:

- I think we don't have clear policy currently for removing old versions
- of golang.
- 
- Basically I want to keep the old version as long as it's still supported
- by upstream. But remove them before release (to keep only default
- version in one release). This is mostly what we do in Debian. Because
- some members want all versions that upstream has released, are available
- in snapshot.d.o.
- 
- I open this bug to establish the practice. And I might move the
- conclusion to wiki as well.
