Public bug reported:

Hello, I've just updated Kubuntu from 23.04 to 23.10 beta.

The first boot was pretty problematic... I started my NUC NUC12WSHi5 after the update and I get tons of error messages related to the Intel Wifi. After 2-3 minutes the system started.
When I shut down the system, it was stuck waiting for thermal.d daemon (or something similar).
I had to force the shutdown pressing the power button.

Now everything works fine with no errors at all. It's fast in booting
and shutting down. These issues appeared only on the first boot/shutdown
after the upgrade to Mantic. Really strange.

I still now have some problems with Plasma apps, but I think I should open a new bug report, shoudn't I?
Meantime I've created a thread on Ubuntu Formus https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2491018
