I think my `df` from
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/initramfs-
tools/+bug/2036124/comments/4 was confusing because this happened after
the original issue occurred, after I had manually removed the older
kernel and upgraded. But another kernel has been released and I'm in the
same boat again: when trying to upgrade, I get the error
>The upgrade needs a total of 229 M free space on disk '/boot'. Please
free at least an additional 33.9 M of disk space on '/boot'. You can
remove old kernels using 'sudo apt autoremove', and you could also set
COMPRESS=xz in /etc/initramfs-tools/initramfs.conf to reduce the size of
your initramfs.
Current status:
$ df -h /boot

/dev/nvme0n1p2 704M 467M 186M 72% /boot
$ ls -al /boot/

I know that I can work around this by removing 6.2.0-32 at this point,
since (6.2.0-33 seems to be working fine), but I think it's bad UX that
the default policy keeps two old kernels (as I understand it) *and*
/boot is not big enough to hold three kernels.
