Public bug reported:
ubuntu (at least 22.04, but likely all
versions) provides broken libpsx - posix
support layer for libcap.
I traced the problem to -Wl,-Bsymbolic-functions
link option that is added by debuild. I reported
that to upstream, and the work-around is now provided:
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/libs/libcap/libcap.git/commit/?id=7d571d13363216556e2d97867172eb15790474b8
Please update libcap2 to this commit, or somehow
make it so that -Wl,-Bsymbolic-functions is not
added.
** Affects: libcap2 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
