Bug description:
  root at colin-OptiPlex-3070:/etc/apt/sources.list.d# perf stat -e syscalls:sys_enter_mmap
  event syntax error: 'syscalls:sys_enter_mmap'
                       \___ unsupported tracepoint

  libtraceevent is necessary for tracepoint support
  Run 'perf list' for a list of valid events

   Usage: perf stat [<options>] [<command>]

      -e, --event <event>   event selector. use 'perf list' to list
