Additionally: Using the shim and grub2 from ubuntu-24.04-desktop-
amd64.iso to start the Microsoft Windows system works fine (using the
same method: chainloader /efi/Microsoft/Boot/bootmgfw.efi).

Bug description:
  I am using Shim 15.8 in combination with GRUB2.12. One of the GRUB
  menu items, chainloader /efi/Microsoft/Boot/bootmgfw.efi, fails to
  boot, while it works correctly with GRUB2.06. Below is a screenshot of
  the error.
