Very annoying, wanted to go with a fresh install of 24.04 on new server
but lack of /dev/md* recognition forces me to go 22.04. You would think
8 months into it that this would be fixed.

Status in mdadm package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed

1. Ubuntu 24.04 Numbat (development) installation medium.
2. no specific package.
3. Installation of ubuntu should be possible on a partition of a raid array.
