The application crashes within libopenal rather than Java. Could you
please provide the steps to reproduce the issue?

Bug description:
  Was trying to use a minecraft modpack It crashed. The log reported that JRE detected an error. The modpack doesn't crash on windows (Others can attest) and given that java is supposed to work the same everywhere I believe that it is caused by a bug in the ubuntu JRE. Pleaase tell me if that is incorrect
