Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.

Ubiquity was last used on Ubuntu 23.10 ISOs on the legacy installer ISOs
(it was the primary installer last on 22.10), no such legacy installer
ISO is available or supported on Ubuntu 24.04 or Ubuntu 24.10.

Your issue is likely with ubuntu-desktop-installer, however you didn't
use that in filing the report, thus limited install log reports were
added as you reported against a deprecated & non-existent installer.
This may limit the usefulness of this report, though if another report
is filed this could provide confirmation or additional detail.

Bug description:
  A fresh install of Ubuntu 24.10 (also Ubuntu 24.04 LTS) with default
  partitioning (doesn't matter if encryption is used or not) results in
  "Invalid partition table!" on Dell E7440 (legacy boot without Secure
  Boot enabled).

  The system still boots normally after pressing Enter. This is
  regression as it didn't happen on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.
