Title:
dmraid hangs trying to start ICH9R RAID 5
Status in dmraid package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Status in Baltix:
New
Bug description:
When dmraid tries to activate a raid5 array, it appears to send down
bad parameters to device-mapper, causing it to print:
device-mapper: table: 252:9: raid45: Invalid RAID device offset parameter
device-mapper: ioctl: error adding target to table
After that it appears that it tries to destroy the new unconfigured
device, but this hangs in the uninterruptable state in
dm.c/__dm_destroy(), apparently waiting for a leaked reference that is
never released. I can not find the source of the leak.
