It's possible you had a bad write to your installation media or for some
other reason its contents could not be read correctly. If you've tried
again and are still having problems you should try re-writing the image
to your media (and maybe also download the image again as well).

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Tried to install 22.05 onto clean ssd. Failed part way through with a
  message suggesting bad media. Tried using a different micro sd to
  install, same fail. Tried installing 24.04 using same source and
  destination media and that worked. Really need to use 22.05 because
  main application for this device really wants 22.05 (24.04 requires
  different version of app which then cascades into a whole bunch of
  other problems).
