Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The relevant dpkg terminal log says:

/etc/initramfs/post-update.d//zz-kernelstub: line 7: kernelstub: command not found
run-parts: /etc/initramfs/post-update.d//zz-kernelstub exited with return code 127

So /etc/initramfs/post-update.d/zz-kernelstub failed, because the
command kernelstub was not found.

I found no Ubuntu package that ships the command kernelstub nor I found
a package that ships /etc/initramfs/post-update.d/zz-kernelstub.
