Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  I have recently found that with the Kubuntu 16.04.1 64-bit ISO (I have
  not tested the 32-bit one but I assume that it is the same) one can
  highlight the text during the slideshow (but seemingly not elsewhere)
  using the cursor which also changes to the text cursor icon:

  This is not the case with the installers for other flavours and I
  would say it is rather strange that this sort of interaction is
  allowed here.
