Title:
enforce format of rootfs and /boot
Status in subiquity:
Triaged
Status in ubuntu-desktop-installer:
New
Bug description:
It's possible today to configure an install where the rootfs, or
/boot, are shared from a previous or current install. We cannot
reliably support that configuration.
Subiquity shall enforce and configuration time, as part of the minimum
requirements to leave the storage screen + autoinstall equivalents,
that the destination for the rootfs is to be formatted. If a distinct
/boot is in use, the same requirement applies.
