Thanks Patricia for uploaded the debdiff.

I did a quick review:
- d/changelog looks good 
   - version string is ok
   - correct code name
   - and with that update-maintainer run was needed, ok
   - incl. a LP bug reference
- no old patches to drop
- PPA build was successful
- build log is okay (just a few "_FORTIFY_SOURCE" warnings)
- lintian on src is ok (just one "I")
- lintian on bin/DEBs, no errors (a few Ws, mainly 'no-man-page', which cannot be fixed on short notice - however, the warning could be reported back upstream)
- update, uninstall and install from scratch works

With that I would consider this as ready to be sponsored (unfortunately
I cannot do this myself, since powerpc-utils belongs to main).
