Hi! Thank you for taking the time to report this issue.

With the informations at our disposal it's a bit hard to pin point what
went wrong. Could you tell me what kind of installation medium you used?

This kind of error oftentimes happens when there's a hardware level
failure. I suggest running memtest86 and if that turns up clear,
badblocks.
