Please cross check with the subiquity folks that this is *actually*
obsolete. The last I knew, it implemented support for firmware-assisted
software raid systems that were not supported by mdadm.
** Changed in: dmraid (Ubuntu)

Title:
Please remove dmraid from the Ubuntu archive
Status in dmraid package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Status in dmraid package in Debian:
Fix Released
Bug description:
It got dropped from Debian due to being obsolete and dead upstream. An
alternative seems to be "mdadm".
We're still tracking it in Ubuntu "main" as part of the live-common seed and an Ubiquity Recommends.
The Ubiquity installer is depecrated, though. So we should consider dropping dmraid from main.
