Public bug reported:

Lunar -> Mantic upgrade is relatively slow on cleanup, and responds to Window events slowly on Wayland.
This provokes Gnome Shell to offer killing it.
If it happens, the user is left with a working and upgraded system, but fearing that the upgrade did not work.
