There is already automatic Popup windows to displays this , it's way
enough.

Bug description:
  Could you display a “This version of Ubuntu OS is no longer supported.
  Update to a newer version to keep this device secure.” red text
  message, on the boot splash screen? This red text message could also
  be watermarked into the top right corner of the desktop.
